I am passionate about improving the relationship between companion animals and their humans. I have met many pet owners who are frustrated and at the end of their tether with their pet's behaviour. I am here to help you re-connect and build a stronger relationship with your pets.

I started my behaviour and training journey at my local dog shelter where I discovered a passion and talent for re-habilitating pets through behaviour modification and educating humans on how to apply behaviour modification plans.

I am a Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant and Accredited Dog Trainer with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (iaabc.org) and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (ccpdt.org). In addition, I am a Fear Free Certified Professional, which means that I only use fear free techniques and will never use or recommend fear or pain to train your animals.

I use humane, science-based methods to help clients understand the underlying cause of their pet’s behaviour, and create individualized behaviour modification plans to address the problem.

My mission is to help owners understand the complexities of their pet’s behavior and find the best solutions to any issues they may be experiencing and allow them to live harmoniously with their family.

About Suzanne

How can an animal behaviour consultant help me?

There are many behaviour problems common to all species of companion animal including: aggressive behaviour or reactivity towards humans or other animals, stress-related behaviour, fear-related behaviour, destructiveness, resource guarding, inappropriate elimination, excessive noise-making, isolation or separation-related stress behaviours, self-injury, stereotypies or phobias.

Often these behaviours can be normal behaviour for our animals but can be undesirable from a human perspective. An animal behaviour consultant can help implement behaviour modification plans to address these concerns.
